THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PROGRAM

Champion Nationals

This season, all routines performed at a regional competition (Ultimate Xpressions, Competitive Edge, Can't Stop Dancin', Dancin' Dynamics, Dance Celebration, or Spring Sensational) will automatically be qualified for the National Championships to be held at Utah Valley University. ALL ROUTINES are welcome to register for the National Championships as soon as they have registered and payed for that routine to participate in any of the regional competitions.

National GROUP Championships

• Each group routine awarded 1st place or an overall award at their regional competition will receive an exclusive invitation to compete in the Champion National Invitational.
• All qualifying group categories must have a minimum of 3 registered competitors to compete for the High Point award.

National QUEEN Championships

• All regional queens will receive an invitation to compete in the Queens Invitational Division of the National Championships.
• All solo competitor categories must have a minimum of 3 registered regional competitors to compete for a queen award.

National ATTENDANT Championships

• All regional attendants are qualified to compete in the National Championships
• All solo competitior categories must have a minimum of 3 registered regional competitiors to compete for a queen award.

THE CHAMPION NATIONAL INVITATIONAL

The new Champion National Invitational will premiere on the evening of May 16th , directly following the Champion Nationals. Only those group routines receiving an invitation from a previous regional competition may participate. (Regional 1st place or overall award winners)

This exciting competition program will feature the highest achieving groups from the 2009 Champion Competition Season, and will reward groups for excellence in artistry, technical achievement, choreography and successful execution of an artistic concept or musical interpretation.

Groups will compete for National placement as well as exclusive Invitational Awards including Innovative Choreography Awards, Superlative Technique Awards, the Invitiational High Point Award, and the coveted Champion Judges Artistic Interpretation Award.
